  6. INTRODUCTION

  8. Windows Sizer is an utility to size and move windows.
  9. "What's new?" you are asking.
  10. "Things I can already do with Windows itself"
  11. Well, that's true, but Windows Sizer let do them easier and faster.
  12. You can move any visibile window to five fixed position.
  13. Or size it to ten predefined sizes.
  14. With just two mouse clicks.
  15. You'll like this utility if you execute multiple application at the same time.
  16. And you'll love it if you are using a "virtual desktop".

  19. INSTALLATION

  21. Just unzip the file WSizer.zip in a directory of your choice.
  22. If you are reading this file chances are you have already done it.
  23. You'll find the following files:

  38. Windows Sizer require the file MFC40.DLL to run. 
  39. The file hold the common routines usually called by application developed with Visual C++ (like Windows Sizer). 
  40. This avoid wasting space on the hard disk (because the same routines are stored only in one place for all the applications). 
  41. Chances are you already have this file, because a lot of application use it (and install it if needed i.e. Netscape Navigator). Look for it in your Windows\System directory. 
  42. Otherwise, you can download it from the Internet.

  44. Double click WSizer.exe form Explorer to start, or (better) create a link in the "Startup" folder to have WSizer automatically start when you start Windows

  47. UNISTALL
  48. --------
  49. Delete all the above files from the hard disk.
  50. If you are capable of directly modify the system registry, you can remove the key:
  51. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\CLAB\WSIZER\1.0

  53. WARNING! Modify the registry only if you know exactly what are you doing.
  54. A damaged system registry can crash your system.
